SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Twitter announced Thursday that it would begin restricting Tweets in certain countries, marking a policy shift for the social media platform that helped propel the popular uprisings recently sweeping across the Middle East. "As we continue to grow internationally, we will enter countries that have different ideas about the contours of freedom of expression," Twitter wrote in a blog post published Thursday. House Republicans railed against the Obama Administration Wednesday during an investigative hearing on General Motors' Chevy Volt, after a probe conducted by the federal auto safety agency ruled that the electric cars' batteries are not prone to causing fires. "The Chevrolet Volt is safe to drive and it has been safe to drive the whole time," asserted David Strickland, head of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
